Srilankan Traditional Mantra Practices are a specific spiritual and traditional method used primarily for religious, social and ceremonial purposes in Sri Lankan society. It is an important part of Sri Lankan culture and can be seen in various rituals and ceremonies of Buddhist, Hindu, Catholic and Muslim religions.
In this Shastra, deep knowledge is maintained which is passed down from generation to generation. It specializes in mantras (recitations using Sanskrit, Pali, or ancient Sinhalese languages), yagas (ritual offerings), charm invocations, and parama asha.And in an absolutely related way is the attainment of health, safety and social tranquility.
